Building infrastructure

The Institute of Regional Development is housed in privately owned facilities at 130 Syggrou Avenue.

The Institute’s facilities occupy the ground floor and the first floor of a seven-storey building and have, in addition to office rooms, modern classrooms, seminar rooms, laboratories, a library and an information bank (DATA BANK).

On the ground floor of I.P.A. There is an amphitheater of 100 seats, which is used for Conferences, Meetings, Seminars and Scientific Events. The amphitheater has a simultaneous translation system, a projection system, a special meeting room and a refreshment room.

Most of the Conferences of the Hellenic Department of the European Scientific Society for Regional Development (ERSA) and the Association of Greek Peripherals are held at the facilities of IPA.

Library

Library

The Institute has an organized library with 2,000 volumes of scientific books and series of Greek and foreign journals.

The library serves mainly the postgraduate students of the Department of Economic and Regional Development and the doctoral candidates, as well as the scientific potential of the Institute. It is constantly enriched with specialized scientific journals and books. It has a computerized organization system.
